I say tomato, you say tomato; I also say Coke.
Someone once told me to get them a soda pop, and that sounded very sissified. I’d rather call my caffeinated beverages something much more risque and illegal-sounding. That means even though I despise the taste of ordinary Coca Cola, and am a Dr. Pepper woman, I still call DP, “coke.”
A blog dedicated to making strange maps, aptly titled, “Strange Maps,” has capitalized on this cross-country dialect evolution and created a treasure map pointing to carbonation, if you will.

The real question is, what is “Other?”

Herobuilders.com: building heroes… Like Sarah Palin??
Sarah Palin just broke history. She became the first woman-vp candidate-action-hero. Unfortunately, Herobuilders.com, a site dedicated to making action figures from pop culture icons, can make an action figure out of me and you too. So what does that say about Palin in a schoolgirl outfit?

Can I get my birthday present early this year?

An Instructables Web treasure: the 1988 Macpack
Don’t ask how, but I recently laid my hands on a sweet 1987 Mac. Once my greediness set in and I was milliseconds from wrapping it in a swaddling cloth and cradling it behind my driver seat, there was an awkward silence. I didn’t know what to do with it.
My roommate and I debated: Fish tank? Planter? Bookend?
No:

Macpack. Some dude on Instructables did it. All though I’m not really that anxious to express my nerdiness, props, guy–Props.

T-Shirt Search Party
It’s 90 degrees at 9 p.m. That means I know you’ll be wearing a t-shirt tomorrow. How can you beat the classic t-shirt? Isn’t it a great feeling when you feel compelled to purchase one, because it strikes you at that point in time in when whatever phased-randomness is equivalent to your life?
I like t-shirts but I don’t wear them as much as I should, perhaps. Until now. Finally I can find a shirt based on the message I want to send out to my intimidating college peers, whom I really, really care about.

Pleasedress.me is a search engine for t-shirts. It sounds insane, but really, what the flip, it’s brilliant. I know plenty of kids into t-shirts that would enjoy typing in a keyword to find clothing. It sounds like it almost justifies clothing in general, doesn’t it?
