The familiar satire surrounding the Bush administration’s White House occupation has no choice but to continue until Jan. 20, 2009. We have no choice. That means this Web site has an eminent domain (heh) in White House pinning-the-tail-to-the…elephant.

With branch-out sites like “ironhymen.com“–i.e. Laura Bush’s abstinence progress satire—it’s almost dot gov.

Hallelujah, praise Google. Tv-Links is back with a brand new URL–that’s a dot-eu now.

With a new disclaimer saying that it is merely “an index of links,” the site providing access to free movies and all the TV you could want slides to the homepage SAFE.

Remember music videos? Me neither. I do remember “Next” though, unfortunately.

Witness the music revolution. Pitchfork, perhaps the most credible indie site to restring music for the Web, has created what the hopeless music lover lost in the demon-possessed MTV.

It has created Pitchfork.tv.

This innovative site gives one the chance to put a home-originated picture and insert it onto a magazine cover of one’s choice, and then share. Unfortunately, I hate the concept. I thought about exposing my true identity through a magazine cover, but I felt that was largely overdone by celebrities and models.

Whenever the homeless people on the drag ask me for money, I’m honest when I say I have less than them. Because sometimes, or most of the time, I suck at keeping track of money. And most people do if they are already broke most of the time.

The point is Xpenser.

Xpenser is a network that lets you keep track of expenses through the phone, email, Twitter, or IM. As soon as the COOP robs you for books, text Xpenser. As soon as someone steals your purse from the Union, email Xpenser (your phone is stolen).

Yet, something tells me that in theory this is a great idea. In reality, the broke feeling will never fade.

A social networking site out of the UK, sniffu.com, will be integrated into Facebook soon, and guess what it does… makes everything creepier!

It was only expected, yet are you ready to take the plunge? Here is how to commit social network suicide:

Join the community. Then when you want to know where someone is, text “sniff Jane” (if you want to know where Jane is, and Jane will let you sniff her…). A Google map will appear on your little mobile and placemark exactly where Jane is, or at least, where her phone is.

What is GraphJam?

It is exactly that: pop culture for people in cubicles. It is for the complete graph-adorer– Legit graphs, i.e.:

I’d like to categorize Trapster.com under one of the most useful sites EVER.

When it comes to driving, I used to be a speedaholic. This coincided with another talent I had: being a cute teenage girl. Once I hit the 20s though, cops started getting less sympathetic and more into ticket-distributing. I had to quit speeding.

And that hurts.

Trapster creates a user community submitting locations of speed traps all over the country using Google maps via the ‘net or the mobile. Once a user submits a speed trap by phone, Trapster will notify you if you are nearing that speed trap on your OWN phone.

Additionally, if some prankster logs in and keeps making up speed traps, her/his credibility will drop, and her/his reports won’t be sent out any longer (hopefully that won’t end up a boy-who-cried-wolf sitch).

I can speed again with confidence. And it’s not annoying to actually be part of this community. Two pluses.
