Written by Chelsey Delaney on April 25, 2008 – 9:35 am -…Blowtorch can help.
Blowtorch is an online production company that sponsors short/creative films and produces 6 full-lengths a year from these film combinations. Accepting only the “young and creative,” I’d say that means us. The site also has a Facebook application weirdly entitled, “Blown,” that showcases the short films chosen to be on the site.
So get it out there.

sniffu: too creepy?
Written by Chelsey Delaney on April 1, 2008 – 3:31 pm -A social networking site out of the UK, sniffu.com, will be integrated into Facebook soon, and guess what it does… makes everything creepier!
It was only expected, yet are you ready to take the plunge? Here is how to commit social network suicide:
Join the community. Then when you want to know where someone is, text “sniff Jane” (if you want to know where Jane is, and Jane will let you sniff her…). A Google map will appear on your little mobile and placemark exactly where Jane is, or at least, where her phone is.
Do you know what this means? The end of lying! No one can say they will be somewhere they aren’t because you are just creepy enough to know!
Good: 1
Evil: 0

FBIM
Written by Chelsey Delaney on March 15, 2008 – 6:29 pm -That stands for Facebook Instant Messaging.

Oh yes, it’s happening. According toTechCrunch, it could be as soon as…this week.
My perspective: it will turn people away from Facebook. How many Facebook friends are actually friends? The anxiety of “real” interactivity, live, could be the end as we know it…
Or the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Ya.
